Overview

More difficult for full-size 4x4s.

After running Turkey Creek, Trail #32, locals told us about another trail farther south. They warned us it was difficult. We explored the area in our Polaris RZR, then went back and drove portions of it in our new Rubicon. We found it drivable in the Jeep with the possible exception of one steep, tippy spot (pictured top right). We had no trouble getting up the spot in the RZR, but didn’t get back to try the Jeep. We suspect many of our hard-core customers will relish the challenge, but a mistake here could result in a rollover. Dispersed camping available between Waypoints 05 and 06.

At approximately N34 8.725, W112 10.752, there is a small boulder field where having a good spotter will be helpful. This is just as you climb out of the dry wash.Also, at approximately N34 9.111, W112 10.856 is a tippy spot due to a gully that is worse than the one you noted in your book. People have placed some rocks in the washed out area, but they are not very stable. Extreme caution is needed here and a good spotter would be very useful.
