This is a great way to visit Grand Canyon National Park without the expense of high-priced hotels. Few people realize that just south of the park is lightly visited Kaibab National Forest with free dispersed camping and plenty of room for large campers and motor homes. Our loop takes you past a fire tower and ends on Hwy. 64 just 2 miles from Grandview Point in the park (fee area). Unload your non-street-legall OHV at the staging area and ride on an assortment of side roads. An MVUM helps when exploring the area.

Drove out to and stayed at the Hull Cabin in May 2019. The trail out is a nice, easy drive going in from Grandview off of Desert View Road in the park. They have installed a new cell tower near the AZ trail and fire lookout tower, so cell coverage was available. We also took an afternoon to drive out FR307 east with no issues. This section was rutted with not a lot of scenery.
