Overview

Long hard-core trail best done during Easter Jeep Safari.

Scenic views from top of Rubble Hill and along edge of 800-foot deep Hatch Wash. Obstacles are unusual and really fun. Trail is very popular during the Easter Jeep Safari, but lightly traveled the rest of the year. The official route has changed over the years, but metal signs marked “FI” identify the trail and make it easier to follow. It can still be quite confusing at times, so we recommend downloading from our website the free GPS tracklog for this trail. ATVs and UTVs can return to the start via the pipeline road (see map).

Trail Ratings Defined

Obstacles are difficult but not extreme, and many have bypasses. “Easter Egg Hill” is easier these days. “The Intimidator” is still narrow and will test how much you trust your spotter. You’ll need high clearance, at least one locker, and heavy-duty skid plates. We do not recommend bone stock SUVs for this trail.
