Overview

Longtime favorite extreme trail follows unique wash to dramatic alcoves and insane obstacles.

This longtime favorite extreme trail follows a unique wash with dramatic alcoves and insane obstacles. Most people will drive up the trail, as described here, and follow the main road back. Less-capable vehicles can follow the main road to the first alcove. The staging area is large and accommodates overnight dry camping. The local Grand Mesa Jeep Club maintains the trail and works hard to keep it open. Please help the club by obeying all signage, respecting private property and
the Toad Habitat. No seasonal closures. This trail requires an OHV permit even if your vehicle has a license plate. See Introduction, page 18.
